Located in north Red Deer adjacent to commercial and residential properties, the site lends itself to the design of a mixed use project. The facility provides 99 assisted living suites, 25 independent living apartments, and commercial space.  It is designed in a non-institutional way intended to focus on and promote the health and well-being of residents.

The building is designed as two separate 4 story residential towers above the main floor surrounding a central courtyard. Every suite is designed to help residents feel at home. Users and residents are able to travel freely between the two for visits or to access services, or commercial spaces.

The design allowed for phased construction so that the care component could built ahead of the independent living component, if needed.  The care component was be designed and constructed to meet Alberta Health Services standards, including: B2 construction, minimum resident room sizes, and minimum overall building area.

The main floor includes space for adult day programs, child daycare, and medical support services.
