10X Bridge
Highway 10X, a historic and scenic route in Alberta’s badlands, crosses the Rosebud River nine times in less than six kilometers, with brightly-coloured successive box and pony truss bridges forming a physical link to the area’s industrial past.
RPK assisted LEX3 in considering the extent to which a replacement of bridge 4 should mimic the historic tropes present along the route. Ultimately, a similar box truss design was selected, but only after considering a multitude of designs.
