10X Bridge
Highway 10X, a historic and scenic route in Alberta’s badlands, crosses the Rosebud River nine times in less than six kilometers. The brightly-coloured box and pony truss bridges form a physical link to the area’s industrial history.
RPK assisted LEX3 in design development, by considering the extent to which a replacement of bridge “4” should mimic the historic tropes present along the route. Ultimately, a similar box truss design was selected, after considering a multitude of designs.
