Located in Jasper National Park, Caribou Creek is a 64 unit development constructed in two phases on three separate sites.  It includes three and four bedroom homes designed for middle income families.  The units are constructed on three parcels of land within the town of Jasper.  Nineteen three bedroom units sit on the first and second sites, while 45 units, including a mix of three and four bedroom homes, are located on the third site. These include garages and additional visitor parking.

We describe the project as perpetually affordable housing.  Parks Canada released the land at a nominal cost with the condition that the owners could only sell their units for what they paid plus a fixed index for inflation.  This begins to create a pool of affordable housing that will remain affordable while allowing ownership of the units.  It was Built Green Gold Certified.
