We worked closely with Capital Region Housing to develop a set of basic guidelines for the design of affordable housing that reflects the CRH’s requirements and serves the following client groups: homeless or persons at risk; low income families; youth; and seniors living independently.  The guidelines are intended to provide a dialogue between the CRH and the Project Team in a Design-Bid-Build Construction Management or Integrated Project Delivery procurement environment.  It provides information on planning and design, room and space specification, and technical data relating to the building and site as a whole and relate to the following building forms: medium density housing (such as townhouses), low-rise apartments, and high density housing (such as medium to high rise apartments).
