RPK Architects, worked with our partners to create a feasibility study reviewing the potential for both the electrification of the City of London’s transit fleet as well as the applicability of hydrogen use.

Several scenarios were developed for the existing facilities, contemplating various magnitudes and timelines for the adoption of Battery Electric Buses BEBs by the municipality. Another facility currently slated for redevelopment, was analyzed for upstream potential, and how the adoption of BEB technology would impact global costs as the facility is redeveloped. On-route charging requirements were developed by assessing key urban design characteristics, technical considerations, as well as general impact to traffic flows.
